11th Annual Orange County FFA Kick-Off Event

The 24-25 Orange County FFA Federation officers gathered at Ocoee High School and kicked off the event with a grand entrance, followed by the official FFA opening ceremony and a “Welcome to OHS” presentation by the school principal, Dr. Fred Ray.

During the event, many FFA members participated in the Orange FFA Federation practice forestry competition to help them prepare for the official Florida FFA Forestry Career Development Event (CDE) in October, while the remaining FFA members participated in several team building and leadership development exercises.

They compete all year for their schools, but on this day, they collaborate together to all get better.

Meanwhile, the OCPS FFA teachers and advisors attended a PLC professional development training. Congratulations on a great, unifying One OCPS event!
