The 15th Annual OTC Auto Show Winners Are In

The 15th Annual Orange Technical College Auto Show took place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the South Campus in Orlando. The event showcased over 140 vehicles in various categories and continued the college’s tradition of community engagement focused on its automotive programs.

  • Auto categories judged were Antique, Classic, Domestic, Modified, Japanese Imports, European Imports, Trucks, Motorcycles, and High School
  • This year’s High School competition included “work in progress” vehicles.
  • At this year’s show, over one 140 vehicles were on display or in the judged competition.

A Day of Automotive Achievement

Visitors to the Orange Technical College South Campus were treated to an impressive display of vehicles across nine competitive categories: Antique, Classic, Domestic, Modified, Japanese Imports, European Imports, Trucks, Motorcycles, and High School. The event ran from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, providing the community with ample time to explore the diverse automotive exhibits.

This year’s show maintained its commitment to education, with students and staff actively promoting the career training and adult education programs available at Orange Technical College. These programs remain vital resources for students looking to transform their lives through quality technical education.

Industry Support

The event received strong backing from industry partners. NAPA Auto Parts and Matco Tools sponsored the show and supported the silent auction. The proceeds from these activities will fund future student events, further enhancing educational opportunities for those pursuing automotive careers.

High School “Work in Progress” Category

A notable addition to this year’s show was the High School category’s “work in progress” vehicles. This new element encouraged high school students to showcase vehicles still under development, providing them an opportunity to present their ongoing projects and future plans. Students created poster boards documenting their progress, which included information about their vehicle’s make and model, completed work, future aspirations for the vehicle, and their favorite aspects of their automotive projects.
