Boone Health Students Prove Being Brave Saves Lives

More than 50 trauma surgeons spent a day working with 320 Boone High School’s Health and ROTC students. These future medical professionals rotated between three sessions: Stop the Bleed, Distracted Driver, and Trauma Survivorship – Personal Stories. Hands-on activities that prove Being Brave Saves Lives.

Surgeons put students in scenarios that would test their critical thinking and knowledge while providing training and sharing their experiences.

Thanks to our sponsor/partner Orlando Health and the trauma surgeons.

Kudos to health instructors Lis Smith and Kelda Adams. What an excellent day and experience!
