I started my educational journey a few years ago wanting to find a career that would always be in demand and had multiple options for growth.
I started first by researching accredited schools in my local area, then checking out reviews and personally speaking to drivers while traveling. I quickly found out that Orange Technical College (South Campus) had the best instructors and cost for the program. I immediately enrolled and was on my way to obtaining my CDL Class A license.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to attend this school and to have the quality training and development that instructors Mr. Ted Price and Mr. Lavelle Irby have instilled within me. After graduating, my career took off immediately.
I was hired onto Davis Express and within a year I was promoted to driver trainer. I stayed with Davis Express for 3 years and progressed my development again to work for Energy Dispatch as a fuel tanker delivering diesel and gas throughout Central Florida.
Without the training and quality of experience passed down to me I would not have been as successful as I am today.
