OTC has opened a new campus in historic Eatonville!
On Friday, May 10, members of the Eatonville community and OCPS and CTE community joined together to cut the ribbon and officially open the doors of this new campus.
Orange Technical College Eatonville branch offers electrical, welding, and plumbing apprenticeships as well as paraprofessional and GED prep courses. These career and technical education programs will set the community up for success.
Eatonville Mayor Angie Gardner said hiring CTE workers will be critical to the community’s efforts to build a museum, rebuild the town’s pipe system, and so much more.
The new campus is in the heart of historic Eatonville, and Mayor Gardner said, “Now you have the opportunity in the town to get all the skills you need right now before those projects begin.”
While some apprenticeship classes have already begun, all programs are expected to be in full swing starting this fall.
